In this view, two large multi-trunk silver maples (at left and
right sides of image)
differ in the density of their foliage and the pattern of their
leafing out and blossoming. Furthermore, the one on the
right produced more reddish blossoms and, later, seed pods in
2008 than it did in 2009.
