It may be that only regular readers of newspapers can
appreciate this rarity:
two pictures -- published in the New
York Times on successive days -- with different people
posed against the same backdrop.
And the scene isn't the press room at the White House
or the Capitol grounds, or any other frequently-photographed
venue. The similar lighting in the two scenes suggests that
these photos were taken close together in time.
